The Missing Ingredient? The Power of Listening to Your Body

Podcast Episode 3

(You can also listen to this episode via Spotify or Apple Podcasts, as well as the Substack app)

Hello! How are you doing? I’m writing this from underneath my heated blanket, having got extremely windswept on a blustery walking coaching session this morning! But I did buy myself my first daffodils of the year today, which has hugely brightened up my kitchen - a sign that brighter days are coming. 🤞

This week on the podcast, I’m discussing a topic that can help us to transform our relationship with our wellbeing, our stress and our decision making: The power of listening to our bodies.

For so many of us, the fast pace of life, together with the prioritisation of our cognitive minds, has lead us to becoming disconnected from the language of our bodies. I explore insights on how to tune into our bodies, recognise their signals, and take compassionate action to support ourselves.

In this episode I share:

  • The importance of listening to your body’s signals and why ignoring them can lead to burnout and anxiety.

  • Simple practices to help you reconnect

  • How developing this connection can enhance decision-making and emotional awareness.

I believe that understanding and nurturing our relationship with our bodies (in a way that works for us as individuals) is essential for not only wellbeing - but also for confidence and decision making - and I hope you find this episode helpful as you explore these ideas.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this topic -do share in the comments below. What practices do you find most helpful?

Take care,

Rachael xx
